 Day 01 - Arrive Chennai
The first day of the Chola Empire tour package brings you to Chennai - the 'gateway to South India'. Check in at a hotel with assistance from the tour guide. You are free to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02 - Chennai
Today you spend the day scouring the local attractions of Chennai - that has a distinct charm of its own. See the Kalakshetra, Fort St. George, Kapaliswara Temple, St. Mary's Church, San Thomas Cathedral Basilica and the Sri Parthasarathy Temple.

Day 03 - Chennai-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram, 140 km
Drive to Kanchipuram on day 03 of the Chola Empire tour package. Begin an interesting tour of this city of thousand temples. Later in the day the Chola Empire tour itinerary includes a drive to Mahabalipuram.

Day 04 - Mahabalipuram-Tanjore, 280 km
Today you drive to Tanjore touring the attractions of Pondicherry en route.

Later in the day you are driven to Tanjore where you check in at a hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05 - Tanjore-Trichy, 56 km
Tour the Brihadeeswarar Temple, Art Gallery and the Saraswathi Mahal Library before breaking for lunch. Drive to Trichy later in the day. Check in at a hotel on arrival.
Tour Srirangam, later in the afternoon. Also visit the Sri Ranganathaswami temple that is known for its tall gopurams.

Day 06 - Trichy-Madurai, 142 km

Day 07 - Madurai
Begin your day with a tour of the Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple. See other local attractions and spend the afternoon relaxing.

Day 08- Madurai-Chennai
Transfer to the airport for flight to Chennai from where you carry on your journey back home.
