Though the city is sacred for the followers of Buddhism and jainism too. Amongst the followers of Hinduism also the Pashupati sect (worshippers of Lord Shiva) too the city is popular too. The Dwarkhadhessh temple, the Kansa Qila, the Sati Burj and the Jama Masjid are other must visits of the magical land of Mathura.

On your way back home do not forget to pick up the textiles and other local handicraft items for your near and dear ones. Though the town is world renowned for the charming combinations of the gorgeous glass beads, beads in wood, stringing glass with the tulsi and the Rudraksha that can be bought to enhance the beauty of your neck. The Rudraksha necklace comprises of the sacred seeds with divine links to Lord Shiva.
