Goa India is located on the western coast of Indian peninsula, separated from Maharashtra in the north, Karnataka in the south, the Western Ghats in the east, and the Arabian Sea in the west by the Terekhol River.

The climate of Goa India maintains a moderate temperature, showing negligible variations throughout the year during all the seasons.
May is the hottest while January and February are the coldest months in the calendar of Goa India, with a prevalence of tropical weather in rest of the year. Southwest monsoon showers arrive in Goa between June and September bestowing highest rainfall in July followed by their departure in February end.
One can visit Goa any time but ideally the trip should be synchronized with the peak of monsoons from mid July to late September or peak winters from November end to mid February.
