Delhi: Location
Delhi, the capital of India, is a metropolitan city with

N and longitude 77.12 E. the location of Delhi is on the western
end of the Gangetic plain, which is drained by River Yamuna.

Delhi: Climate
Delhi experiences four major seasons with extreme weather
conditions during peak summers and winters while remaining
months of the year are pleasant. The summer season is from
April to June when the temperature rises even beyond 45 oC
while the winter season is from mid-November to mid-February
when the temperature drops as low as 5 oC. The rainy season
is from July to September when the climate sometimes becomes
very humid and at times cool and pleasant. The best season
to visit Delhi is from October to March. October is the month
when almost whole of India is busy in celebration of one or
he other festivals such as Navratri, Durga Puja, Dusshera
and Deepawali. It is best time to witness the cultural aspect
of India. February and March are the months of spring when
the winters are on a passé and summers are yet to arrive.
