Fernhill Palace, Ooty was the summer palace of the Maharajas of Mysore before it was converted into a heritage hotel by Welcomheritage group. In the year 1873, the hotel was built as a royal bungalow over 40 acres of pristine land. However, with the passage of time, the venue underwent series of changes, which also accounted for the incorporation of a Durbar hall for Mysore’s esteemed Maharaja Chama Rajendra Wadiyar X.
At present, the Fernhill Palace has 19 beautiful suites, exceptional business amenities and recreational opportunities to cater to the multifaceted needs of the visiting guests.
